A record number of UK businesses were launched last year, according to analysis of Companies House data by the Centre of Entrepreneurs. More than 650,000 businesses were registered in the UK in 2016, up from 608,110 in 2015 and 581,173 in 2015.
“This is cause for celebration, not least because of the uncertainty generated in the run-up to and immediate aftermath of the June referendum” said Matt Smith, director of the Centre for Entrepreneurs.
2017 is set to be another strong year for UK business formation, with over 150,000 startups launched in the first quarter of the year.

With so many new businesses launching every day, it’s important to build a strong brand quickly. This includes creating a respected, trustworthy image. A prestigious business address is a powerful tool to boost trust in your company.
One of the best things about virtual office setups is that they are incredibly flexible. Simply pay monthly for the services you need and cancel at any time. As your business grows, you can upgrade your service package to keep up with your changing needs.
Virtual office services aren’t limited to a superior business address and post forwarding, additional services can often be added to your support package for a small additional fee. These can include anything from luxury meeting room hire to a personalised telephone answering service.
Are you missing out on enquiries whilst you’re out meeting potential clients? Perhaps you’re working from a noisy café a few days a week and find it impossible to concentrate on your work? Whatever your problems, if you don’t want to commit to a long-term office lease but want all the benefits of a full-time receptionist and access to high-tech meeting rooms, virtual office services are the perfect solution.
