Formed in 1985, Anvic Developments has rapidly grown into the premier company for business accommodation in Burnley. Paul Dawson, the Managing Director of Anvic Developments has involved himself in many aspect of the growth not only of Anvic but also of Burnley itself as founder Chairman of Initiative Burnley – a partnership between the public and private sector. Paul is also a founder Director of Burnley Enterprise Trust.

Starting with Northbridge House in 1985, Anvic created the perfect facility for new and small businesses. Northbridge House provides some of the best and most technically advanced facilities outside the major UK cities. It has seen a succession of small businesses thrive in the encouraging environment with a wide range of facilities and support services. Northbridge House now provides flexible business accommodation for 100 businesses.

The next project was to create the perfect setting in Burnley for the more established company, looking for the perfect image, from which Lodge House was created. A converted mill situated just inside the ring road, and with ample parking, Lodge House is the most prestigious office setting in Burnley.

In July 2006 Anvic bought 49 Piccadilly, Piccadilly House, which has proven to be one of the most popular developments in Manchester city centre. With a boutique style, the centre offer something completely unique for the city centre and overlooks the bustling Piccadilly Gardens. In 2010, an additional two floors were converted to cope with demand.

Continuing the growth in Manchester, Anvic purchased City View House in November 2009. Formerly The Works Business Centre, City View House is situated on the fringes of the city centre and only minutes away from Piccadilly Station. The centre has over 60 offices across 2 floors and has one of the most generous parking provisions anywhere in central Manchester.

Anvic's Group Chairman and owner, Mr Paul Dawson, qualified as a chartered accountant and subsequently studied at a Paris Business School and the Oxford Centre for Management Studies, thereafter becoming CEO of the UK Division of an Italian multi-national company, increasing the size of the business and profitability ten-fold.

Following this success he was promoted to International Financial Controller. Thereafter he was also made responsible for a number of the company's markets across Europe, together with those in the United States of America, and Canada.

In the early 1980s, Paul decided he wanted to develop his own business and to spend more time at home with his young family. By October 1985 he had procured his first building to convert to serviced offices and so Anvic Developments was born...
