Social networking builds your business!!
Social networking has become an important medium for Manchester companies in attempting to winning new business, a survey has recently suggested. The poll, by a national serviced office provider, found that nearly half of the Manchester firms surveyed (49 per cent) are successfully winning new customers through social networking. Only 41 per cent of companies polled nationally said that they were using social networking tools to drum up new contracts.
The report demonstrates that businesses believe social networking has evolved from a “nice-to-have” to a “necessity”, with nearly three quarters of businesses in Manchester (72 per cent) and two-thirds in the UK (66 per cent) agreeing that without social media activity, their marketing initiatives cannot hope to be successful. However, firms also agree that social networking online must be part of a mix of traditional and new communication with customers, with 61 per cent locally and 64 per cent nationally stating that “without a combination of traditional and digital techniques, marketing campaigns will not work”. Here at Anvic Developments we are a fan of social networking tools as a way of communicating with our customers and with our local marketplaces. We're not simply talking to people about our products (serviced offices, conference and meeting rooms and virtual offices in Manchester and Burnley) but, rather, we welcome the opportunity to find out who our neighbours are, what's important to the communities we work alongside and what they are talking about. If there's a match between what they are looking for and one of our products or services, then fantastic. The journey, dialogue, and communication is what matters most to us though. Ultimately we're here to help people and - as serviced office providers - we're nothing without being able to listen, and to listen well.
